Meekness is not weakness. The word "meek" means yielded. It literally has the idea of strength under control. When an animal, especially a horse,is domesticated, its trained so a rider can sit on its back. The proper term for this process is that the animal has been "meeked." It has been broken. Now it yields to the rider. Now the animal exhibits strength under control. That's what meekness is. ~ Mike Clark
